About BMM Course: The Bachelor of Mass Media (B.M.M.) course was introduced by the University of Mumbai in the year 2000-01. It is a three-year degree course with six semesters. The areas of specialisations in the third year are Advertising and Journalism.
About BMS Course: Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) course was introduced by the University of Mumbai in the year 1999 - 2000.

St. Xavier's Mumbai College Admission Eligibility criteria
Age: Candidate’s date of birth must fall on or after:
- 1 June 1995 in case of General category
- 1 June 1993 in case of Catholic religious community and SC/ ST category
Academic Qualification- Qualifying Examination (QE): The student should have passed Class 12 conducted by CBSE Delhi, ISC Delhi, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Education, Mumbai, Pune or from any recognised Central or State Board or a 2-year pre-university examination conducted by a recognised Board / University.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate(IB) Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- Open Schooling: Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with:
- 65% marks in case of General category
- 60% marks in case of Minority Community
- 55% marks in case of Reserved category

Steps to fill the St. Xavier College Application Form
There are total five steps included to fill the application form of St. Xavier College. The candidates are suggested to follow the steps below and fill the application form.
- Step 1: The first step of filling the application form is that the candidates need to register themselves on the official website of the college by following the link available on this page.
- Step 2: The candidates after registering themselves have to select the applicable category from General, reserved, Christian minority or Special Category and proceed further to fill the application form.
- Step 3: At this step, the candidates need to fill the application form by entering their personal as well as academic details correctly.
- Step 4: The candidates after filling the application form ensure that the details filled by them are correct and make payment of application fee for BMM & BMS Entrance Exam afterwards.
- Step 5: After paying the application fee, the candidates have to click on "Submit" button to submit their application form.
Submission of Application Form
Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form.
St. Xavier's Application form has to be submitted ONLINE only. After the successful submission of the application form, the candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.
St. Xavier's College Mumbai Admit Card
The candidate will receive an e-mail to download the admit card after the institute receives the application fee. The candidate needs to take a print out of the admit card, paste a recent passport size photo on it and get it attested by the school principal or a Gazetted Officer and carry the admit card to the examination.
In case the candidate does not receive the admit card by 30 May 2018, the candidate can approach the college registrar. In this case, the candidate can obtain the admit card on or before the exam date. The candidates have to carry One attested copy of Class 12 and Aadhaar Card/Junior College ID Card along with the Admit card on the day of the exam.

Candidates will be selected through Entrance Exam Rank (EER) which will be based on Entrance Test and Class 12 Marks.Therefore, admissions to the First Year BMM, BMS course is not based on class 12 Board results alone.

- Duration of the Exam: It will be a 1 hour 45 Minutes duration exam consisting of one question paper in English.
- Type of Questions: The Question paper will consist of 2 Sections made up of objective and subjective type questions.

- Therefore, all candidates (including in-house students passing HSC of February/ March 2018) applying for admission to St. Xavier’s College for the First Year Courses i.e. B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Sc. (IT), B.M.M., B.M.S. are required to fill in the “Pre-Admission Online Registration Form” and submit a hard copy of the same to the College Office (dates for submission will be announced later).
