About FDDI
FDDI Admission 2018 - The result of FDDI (Footwear Design & Development Institute) was announced on 21 May 2018. Candidates who appeared for FDDI AIST (All India Selection) exam on 28, 29 and 30 April 2018, can check the result from this page. FDDI Admission result 2018 is available online and candidates can check the same from this article. FDDI has been upgraded as the institute for the purpose of providing trained human resource and assistance to the sector. FDDI entrance test was held in a computer-based and had 200 Multiple Choice Questions. Qualifying candidates will become eligible for the counselling rounds, scheduled to start from 12 June 2018 for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

FDDI Eligibility criteria
Eligibility Criteria for FDDI UG Admission
Academic Qualification for UG Courses: Candidates who have passed Class 12 examination or appearing in Class 12 Board Examination in 2018 are only eligible to apply for all the UG courses.
Age Limit: The maximum age of the candidate can be 25 years as on 25 July 2018. However, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing for PG courses.
Eligibility Criteria for FDDI PG Admission
Academic Qualification for M. Design Courses: The candidates who have completed Graduation in Footwear / LGAD / Design / Engineering / Production / Technology or any other related programme are eligible to apply for both M. Design Courses.
Academic Qualification for MBA: The candidates who have done graduation in any discipline from a recognised institution are only eligible to apply for FDDI MBA admission 2018.
- Qualifying exam for MBA: Candidates who have appeared in any of these CAT/XAT/MAT/AIMA/JMET/NMAT/AMCAT/SNAP/GMAT/AIM-CAT/ or another equivalent entrance test will be exempted from appearing AIST entrance test.
There is no age limit for FDDI PG admission 2018.
FDDI Application form and Admit Card
Applicants applying for the FDDI Admission 2018 have to fill the FDDI Application Form 2018 in online mode only. Applicants have to submit the duly filled in application form on or before the last date 22 April 2018. Follow the link given below to fill and submit the online application form.
Submission of the Application Form
Applicants have to fill and submit the application form in "Online" mode only. After the successful payment of the FDDI Application Form, the candidates have to take the printout of the confirmation page which can be used for the further references. Applicants do not need to send any printed application form anywhere as the submission of FDDI Application Form is an online process,
FDDI Fees
After completion of the filling process of the FDDI, Application form Candidates are required to pay an Application Fees of Rs 500 via Debit Card/ Credit Card or Net Banking. Check the fee structure of the Undergraduate Programmes.

FDDI Result and Counselling
On 21 May 2018, FDDI result was announced and it is available online. To know more about FDDI result 2018, check the points given below -
- First, AIST Result will be declared on 21 May 2018 and thereafter, FDDI All India Merit List 2018 will be prepared on the basis of the AIST Result 2018. Now, the conducting body will call the shortlisted candidates for Counseling which will be conducted from 12 to 17 June 2018.
- Campus Allotment: The program and the campus will be allotted to the candidate on the basis of his/her rank and preference at the time of counselling.
- Admissions will be made strictly on merit basis (Rank-wise) and counselling will be conducted in 2 rounds till all the seats get filled-up.
- The candidate who is allotted a seat in their desired program has to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs. 5000 on the spot to reserve the seat.
FDDI Exam pattern
The candidates who have successfully submitted an online application form and appearing in All India Selection Test (AIST) for UG or PG admission have to follow the exam pattern as given below:
- Mode of the Test: Computer Based Test
- The Language of the Test: English and Hindi
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes duration
- Total Questions: 200
- Type of question: Objective type questions (Multiple choices for these questions)
- Scoring: Each question would carry 1 mark
- There will be NO NEGATIVE marking.

FDDI Sponsorship 2018
The institute offers a Sponsorship to the meritorious/poor/underprivileged students enrolled in various programmes at FDDI. Fee concession is also granted every year to the needy students as per the policy. FDDI Sponsorship category for admission seekers:
- 15% seats are reserved for industry sponsored candidates.
- Industry sponsoring such candidates will be required to pay twice the tuition fee in case of Noida and for all other campuses, 50% extra fee will be charged.
- FDDI will not be responsible for Industry internship & placement of such candidates.
Kindly Note: The NRI applicants will be treated as sponsored candidates. The admission procedure is same as Sponsorship category students.
