Tripura MBBS and BDS Admission will be done on the basis of NEET 2018. Admission process will begin after the declaration of NEET result, the candidates are advised to keep a check on this page for latest updates on Tripura MBBS and BDS Admissions. Earlier, TBJEE was conducted for admission into engineering & medical colleges in Tripura. But from this year, MBBS and BDS admissions will be based on marks secured by the candidate in NEET for other Medical, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery courses TJEE is still conducted by The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE).

Admission to government medical colleges in Tripura is based on NEET Score. Tripura MBBS and BDS Medical Application forms can be filled from the month of June 2018.

Agartala Medical College

The Agartala Government Medical College is situated in the G B Pant Hospital campus in a newly constructed building. This Institute is recognized & approved by Medical Council of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi and affiliated to Tripura University (A Central University). • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Domicile: Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tripura and either the candidate or his/her parent must have been residing in the state of Tripura continuously for not less than 10 years.

Academic Qualifications

• Candidate must have passed/ appeared/ or appearing in 2018 at the Higher Secondary Examination of Tripura Board of Secondary Education / Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination.
• Candidates must have studied the subjects in which they desire to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination.

Tripura MBBS and BDS Application Fees

Points to Note:

• Candidates can download the e-challan to deposit the examination fees at any branch of State Bank of India.
• In that case the candidates have to deposit bank commission/other charges in addition to the amount of exact examination Fees.
• In case candidates deposit it at SBI, Agartala (Melarmath) Branch, no exchange fees/commission / service charges etc. will be charged.

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in NEET examination followed by Counselling. Admission of the candidate to a certain College / University will be subjected to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria regarding cut-off marks and other norms as specified by the respective departments of State & Central Government/ Institution/ Council/ Body etc.

Tripura MBBS and BDS Admission will be done on the basis of NEET scores. Candidates have to appear in the NEET All India basis exam. The exam pattern is mentioned below:

NEET 2018 will be conducted in 10 languages. The candidates have to specify the language of the question paper while filling the application form. There will be only one paper in NEET entrance exam, which will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode.

Duration of Exam: 3 hours

Total no. of Questions: 180 Multiple Choice Questions from the three subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). Four marks will be awarded for every correct response.

Negative Marking: For every incorrect response one mark will be deducted from the total score.

The Medium of Exam: From this year NEET question paper will be conducted in 10 languages viz are; Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada and Telugu. 

• The questions would be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at centre only.
