AEEE 2018 - Result, Counselling, Dates, Fees

AEEE has been conducted from 19 to 22 April in computer-based mode, while the pen & paper test was held on 28 April 2018. Amrita result 2018 has been announced on 7 May by 12:30 pm, by entering registration number and date of birth. The link to download Amrita University2018 result is provided on this page. Based on the AEEE result, the rank will be prepared and published. AEEE counselling 2018 will commence from 31 May, as mentioned on the official website. However, the dates for Amrita counselling 2018 will be available after the result is published. The counselling will be held on the basis of rank, preferences of colleges as well courses and seats available. Through AEEE, candidates will be granted admission to 8 B.Tech courses offered in three campuses located at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. Age: Candidates shall be born on or after 1 July 1997.

Minimum Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed in class 12 examination or equivalent with an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these subjects.

     OR

A three-year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education.

• Candidates appearing in Class 12 examination in 2018 may also appear for the AEEE 2018 Engineering Entrance Exam.

Students can apply for  AEEE 2018 either in online or in offline mode. The candidate can get Amrita Engineering entrance exam application form from the following modes.

Mode 1: Offline Mode (OMR Application Form)

• From the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering- The application form is available at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore on producing a Demand Draft.
  • Demand Draft Details for AEEE 2018
    • DD for  Rs 1000  drawn in favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore
    • Candidate should write his / her Name and "B.Tech. Application" on the backside of the Demand Draft.

• Post Office/ Bank- Forms are available at select branches of Post Office, Dhanlaxmi Bank, Federal Bank >> Click to know the nearest application sale outlet 
  
• By Post: The application form can be requested from the Admission Co-ordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore (address is given below), on a written request indicating the following things:
  • Their full communication address
  • Include a Demand Draft for  Rs. 1000 drawn in favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.

Amrita University BTech Fee Structure

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of AEEE 2018 Rank list which is published on the University website and also on the link above on this page. Amrita result 2018 has been announced on 7 May at 12:30 pm by Amrita University. Candidates need to enter the registration number and date of birth in the login window. Amrita University result 2018 contains name of candidates, roll number, overall and subject-wise marks secured.

• No other entrance exam except AEEE 2018 will be considered for admission into Amrita University School of Engineering.
• No Revaluation, rechecking or totaling: The answer sheets are machine graded and scrutinized with precision so the request for evaluation, rechecking or totalling will not be entertained.

• Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
• Total Questions: There will be 100 multiple choice questions.
• Each question will be followed by four answers of which only one is correct / most appropriate.
• Marks: Each question carries three marks
• Negative Marking: There is a Negative marking in AEEE 2018 and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Pencil & Paper Based Test

• For pencil & paper-based test, there will be four versions of the question paper.
• The candidates can use either black ballpoint pen or HB pencil to answer the question paper on the OMR Sheet.

Amrita University Scholarships

The Amrita University offers two types of merit scholarships to B.Tech. students. Both the scholarships are described below.

Scholarship Based on Amrita Entrance Examination

This scholarship will be provided to 10% of students admitted into the first year B.Tech Programmes in all Amrita campuses are eligible for Amrita Vidyanidhi Scholarship based on their Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE) rank. It is awarded as a waiver of tuition fees ranging from 90% to 25% of tuition fee depending on the AEEE rank secured by the candidate.

Around Rs 8.65 Crore Amrita Vidyanidhi AEEE merit scholarship based on AEEE rank secured by the candidates is distributed every year to every batch of B. Tech. students in all 3 Campuses as given below.
