AMUEEE 2018 is for admission into Aligarh University Engineering Program for the session 2018-19. Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE) is conducted by Aligarh Muslim University on all India basis and is open to students of all states/UTs and from all recognised boards/universities. Aligarh Muslim University is a Central University. AMUEEE 2018 is conducted for admission in various undergraduate engineering courses and architecture course.
The name of the B.Tech college under AMU is Zakir Hussain College of Engineering & Technology (ZHCET) and it is one of the top Engineering colleges in India. The admission to the college is done through AMUEEE
The students can apply for B.Tech & B.Arch through the same AMUEEE application form. The last date to apply for AMUEEE is 16 March 2018.Those students who have filled in the AMUEEE application form for B.Arch have to also appear in B.Arch Paper 2.

AMUEEE Eligibility criteria
Age: The age of the candidates should be at least 24 years.
Academic Qualifications:
For Admission to the B.Tech / B.Arch Programmes, the following academic criteria are required:
- The candidate must have passed Class 12th from any recognised board.
- The candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, English, Chemistry and Physics.
OR
- Diploma of Engineering holders from Aligarh University with at least 50% marks in aggregate is also eligible to apply for AMUEEE 2018.
AMUEEE Application form and Admit Card
The candidates can fill the application form for both the courses i.e B.Tech and B. Arch by paying the extra application fee as prescribed there. The candidates can fill the application form through online mode only. The candidates applying for AMUEEE 2018 can make the payment of the application fee through any of the payment mode given below.
- Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking: The candidates can pay the application fee by using any of the above options according to their convenience.
Before filling the Application form candidates are required to keep the listed below things ready.
- Scanned copy of coloured Photo with a white background, Signature, and Thumb Impression (Left Hand Thumb Impression for every candidate) of the Candidate in JPG format ONLY. The file size of each should be less than 40KB
- Email address & Mobile number.
- Online Banking details/Debit Card/Credit Card.
- Details of qualifying examination
Application Submission
The application has to be submitted online only. The candidates are advised to check the details of the duly filled application form before the final submission. Candidates are also advised to keep the printout of the application form for future reference.
The students filling the online application form have to take a printout of the application form for the future references. The candidates are not required to send their documents or application form anywhere.

AMUEEE 2018 Admit Card
Admit Card to appear in the Admission / Departmental Test will be uploaded/issued by the University only to those candidates whose Application form, complete in all respects, has been received by the University on or before the last date of receipt
No Admit Card shall be sent by post. Candidates are required to paste their recent passport size colour photograph in the space provided on the downloaded Admit Card (same as affixed on the Application Form) and hand over the Admit Card to the Invigilator on duty at the Test Centre.

AMU B. Arch Test Centre: Students applying for B.Arch will only be allotted Aligarh as the test centre.
AMUEEE Fees
Candidates who are applying for admission to B.Tech in Aligarh Muslim University can also apply for admission to B.Arch on the same Application Form after paying an additional Admission Test Fee of Rs.100.
Such candidates shall also have to appear in Paper II. The AMUEEE 2018 application fee for each course is given in the table below:

AMUEEE Result and Counselling
The AMUEEE 2018 result will be declared in mid of June 2018. The appeared candidates are requested to keep a track on all the information that would be shared on the official website.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the ranks secured in the AMUEEE Entrance Exam. B.Arch candidates have to score a minimum of 40% marks in Architect Aptitude Test - Paper 2 for selection.
AMUEEE Exam pattern
AMUEEE 2018 Exam will consist of two papers i.e Paper 1 and Paper 2. The examination pattern for each paper is given below. Candidates can check the Examination pattern, timings of the exam and other important things below.
AMUEEE 2018 Patter for Paper 1: For B.Tech and B.Arch Applicants
- AMUEEE 2018 Question paper will be in the English Language.
- It will be a 3 hours exam and it would be an objective type paper consisting of 150 questions and a total of 150 marks.
- There will be questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Negative Marking: Incorrect answers shall result in a negative score of 25 percent of the marks allotted to the question

Architecture Aptitude Test
- It shall contain some descriptive questions.
- Test of Drawing
Things to be carried by the students
- Candidates are advised to bring their own drawing and sketching material like pencils, eraser, sharpener, pen, ink, Pencil Colours, Water Colours etc.
- Drawing Sheets and/or Answer Booklet shall be provided to the candidates.

The highest number of seat offered is from Mechanical Engineering which is 90. The final allocation of the branch will be done through counselling.
