Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA) Admission 2018

Manipal University WGSHA - has been consistently ranked as a top institute in the country for hotel management studies. Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA) was the first college in India to offer Hotel Management Course. The candidate has to pay Rs. 600 for the online application form. Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration offers a 4-year degree course in Bachelor of Hotel  Management  (BHM) and 3 Years Course in BA (Culinary Arts) along with many other Certificate and Postgraduate Courses. The last date to apply for the same is 21 March 2018. 

Manipal University Hotel Management Admission 

For admission to Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and Communication and BA (Culinary Arts), candidates need not require to take the MU OET Entrance Exam. Till 2014, the students had to appear in an entrance exam for admission in Hotel Management Course, but from this year the admission would directly be on the basis of Class 12 Marks.

Citizenship: Indian nationals and Foreigners and NRI are eligible to apply.

Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with at least 45% marks.

General Category: Admissions are offered on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, written test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Details of the selection centres will be informed to the applicants at a later date.

Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Note: There is no entrance test for BHM Lateral Entry. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of qualifying examination and declared by the committee once all the application will be received.

Steps to fill the WGSHA Online Application Form

• STEP 1: Candidate has to fill their personal details and course applied for.
• STEP 2:  Candidates has to upload scanned photo and signature.
• STEP 3: Candidate needs to make payment here and add their complete address.

Submission of the Application Form

Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form

Candidates paying through demand draft has to make it in favor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, payable at Manipal or Udupi. The details should be filled up in the online application form and the Demand Draft must be couriered to the following address:

Note: In addition to the above fees candidates have to pay refundable caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/-(Indian) USD 200 (International) along with the first installment fees.

Manipal Admissions to Bachelor of Hotel Management and BA (Culinary Arts) are done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination. The admission committee will review the applications and will make the selection of the candidates.
