About VITEEE 2019
VITEEE 2019 is an engineering entrance exam conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology which is a deemed to be university located in Chennai. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2019 is for admission in VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal and VIT Amravati.
VITEEE 2019 exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode in April 2019. VIT Application process will start from 1 November 2018. The application will be open for almost four months and will end in February. After the application ends, the students will be given the opportunity to book the VIT Exam Date 2019 and Time via VIT Slot Booking 2019.
VIT University offers 20 Undergraduate, 34 Postgraduate, 4 Integrated & 4 Research programmes. VITEEE 2019 Exam Date
VIT University has not announced the VITEEE 2019 exam date. From the past many years, the VITEEE is conducted in April for 12-14 days. It is a computer-based exam and students can choose the VITEEE 2019 exam date as per their convenience through VIT Slot booking. We will update the VITEEE Exam Date 2019 as soon as it is released by the University.

VITEEE Application Form 2019
VITEEE application form 2019 can be filled through online as well as offline mode. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the VIT 2019 entrance test can apply through both the modes until the due date. VITEEE application form 2019 will be available from 1 November 2018. Candidates can fill their VITEEE 2019 application form through online mode or else they can visit the VITEEE post offices to purchase it through offline mode. To register themselves for VITEEE 2019 a candidate needs to upload further documents i.e. a recent photograph and signature etc.
Note: The VIT University Admission for NRI and Foreign Nationals are different the Indian students.

VITEEE 2019 Exam Pattern
Candidates who are willing to appear for VIT Engineering entrance exam must go through the exam pattern to get an overview of the structure of the question paper.

- Each question is followed by 4 alternative answers. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer and click the same. No negative marks for wrong answers.
- Candidates can navigate freely through the questions back and forth.
NOTE: Candidates are requested to give utmost attention during VITEEE Question paper selection (PCME / PCBE)
- PCME - Candidates appearing in PCME is eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree programmes as per the VITEEE ranking
- PCBE - Candidates appearing in PCBE is eligible only for 3 B.Tech. Bio-stream Degree programmes (Biotechnology, Biomedical, and CSE with spec. in Bioinformatics) as per the VITEEE ranking
VITEEE Syllabus 2019
After getting familiar with the exam pattern, candidates are advised to check the VITEEE Syllabus. Candidates are advised to cover the whole syllabus of VITEEE. VITEEE Previous Year Question Papers
VIT University doesn't release VITEEE Previous year question papers. However. candidates can go through VITEEE Sample papers while preparing for VITEEE. Candidates can prepare for VITEEE using question papers of other engineering exams also such as JEE Main question papers. While preparing for VITEEE, it is very important that candidates go through VITEEE Previous year question papers. By solving the VITEEE previous year question papers, candidates can become familiar with the type of questions that are asked in the exam. Also, it helps in prioritising the topics and subjects to be covered in the VITEEE exam.
VITEEE 2019 - How to prepare for the exam?
VITEEE is a computer-based exam and is taken by nearly 2 lakh students for a few thousand seats, so the competition is high in the exam. VIT University has not made available the VITEEE previous year papers so the student can practise the VIT sample papers provided above on this page and with the help of these sample papers a candidate can prepare according to the VITEEE Syllabus as provided by the VIT University.
VIT University has uploaded Sample papers on the University website and thus the students can practise questions from there and this will give them a good idea about the exam.
VITEEE 2019 Mock Test
VIT University will provide VITEEE mock test online. The candidates can practice and have an idea of the examination pattern and the types of questions to be asked in VITEEE 2019. As the exam will be computer-based test i.e. the question paper will be available only in the English language. And the question paper will be objective type question.
VITEEE Eligibility 2019
Every candidate is required to go through the VIT eligibility criteria before they apply for VITEEE 2019. The eligibility criteria are provided below:
- Age - Candidate who is born on or after 1 July 1997 is eligible to apply for VITEEE 2019.
- Citizenship - To apply for VITEEE 2019, the candidate must note that he/she must be from the below-mentioned Nationality/Citizenship:
- Applicants should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National
- PIO and OCI holder are also eligible to apply for VITEEE 2019
- Foreign Candidates studied/studying in abroad can apply directly through foreign category only
VITEEE Academic Eligibility
- Candidates who are willing to appear in VITEEE 2019, must have completed their 10+2 or higher secondary education conducted by state/central board of secondary education or Intermediate or two-year pre-university from a recognised board. Candidates who are pursuing their 10+2 are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Candidates must have a high school certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Organisation, Geneva and a General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- NIOS candidates are also eligible for the entrance exam but they must submit their migration cum transfer certificate at the time of admission.
- Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible for all the 18 B.Tech. Degree Programmes
- Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) are eligible for 3 B.Tech. Bio-Medical Engineering and Biotechnology and Engg (Spec. in Bioinformatics) but after joining, registering Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory

VITEEE Slot Booking 2019
Candidates can book their slots for VITEEE 2019 from the first week of March 2019 (tentative) through online mode. Candidates need to book the slots for their exam i.e. every candidate need to book the exam date and centre as per their convenience. Candidates must note that the selection of pattern (Physics/Chemistry/ Mathematics or Biology/English) has to be decided at the time of slot booking.
After VITEEE slot booking is completed by a candidate then he/she can further go to download their respective admit card for VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology). Candidates can go through the amount to be paid while booking a slot in the below-provided table:
Candidates must go through the list of test centres before they go book their slots to get an idea about the cities where the exam will be conducted. The list of VITEEE test cities will be released along with the application forms. Candidates can get the list of previous year exam centres so that they may acknowledge their test cities according to their convenience. Every candidate is required to enter the same city code which he/she has entered while filling their application form. Candidates can confirm their test centres while booking their slots.
VITEEE 2019 Admit Card
VITEEE admit card will be available for candidates who have filled their application form for VIT 2019 successfully. The hall ticket of VITEEE will be available from the second week of March according to the VIT dates (tentatively). To download the VITEEE admit card, candidates need to enter their login credentials carefully. Candidates can click on the provided link (whenever available) to get their admit card for VITEEE 2019 downloaded. Get more details related to the steps to download the admit card. After downloading your VITEEE admit card candidates must take a soft copy of it for future communications.
VITEEE Result 2019
Candidates will get their VITEEE result 2019 in last week of April. To download the result for VITEEE 2019 candidate must click on the provided link (whenever available) and enter the required credentials. If an applicant qualifies in his/her VITEEE 2019, then they are required to take a copy of their qualified scorecard. Qualified candidates will be called up for the counselling rounds further.
On the basis of the VIT result of Written Admission Test, candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling process according to their scores in the online exam. The admission will be purely on the basis of the marks secured in the VITEEE 2019, conducted by VIT University. Candidates who have not appeared for the VITEEE are not eligible for admission. VITEEE 2019 Score would be calculated using Equating Methodology.
VITEEE 2019 Counselling
The VITEEE counselling will commence from the second or third week of May 2019, tentatively. Candidates who have qualified in the test will be called for the VITEEE Counselling rounds. Candidates need to carry their required documents while they go to attend their counselling round. The Schedule for VITEEE Counselling will be displayed on the website and all the shortlisted candidates will get notified through SMS facility on their preferred mobile number.
Note: In the first VIT Counselling approx. 20,000 (on the basis of previous year counselling) students are given a call.

Candidates must go through the annual fee structure of VIT University. The below mentioned table shows the total amount to be paid by a candidate who is willing to take admission in VIT University or the candidate who has qualified in VITEEE 2019.

VIT Scholarship
VIT University offers VIT scholarship to all the meritorious students who appeared in the VITEEE exam and scored good rank under GV School Development Programme (GVSDP). As per the VIT Scholarship, only the tuition fee of the candidate is waived off and all the other fee such as special fees, external placement training fee and placement fee are to be paid by the candidate. VIT scholarship is paid to the students ranked 1 to 1000 only.
Last year close to 2 Lakh students appeared for VITEEE for close to 5000 engineering seats for its Engineering B.Tech Programs. VIT has also entered in Limca Book of records for the fourth years for the highest number of placements in a single slot.
- Among the cities, Delhi has registered the largest number registrations.
- Uttar Pradesh accounts for the largest number of 27,604 registrations.
