NCHMCT JEE is an All India Level Entrance Exam for admission into Hotel Management. NCHMCT Result has been declared on 21 May 2018 for NCHMCT Exam which was held on 28 April 2018. The candidates appeared in NCHMCT 2018 Exam can check the result by following the link given towards the end of this page. The qualified students will be called for NCHMCT Counselling for admission into 3-year duration B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration program. National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India which conducts NCHMCT JEE every year. NCHMCT Courses Admission under NCHMCT JEE
The BSc program in Hospitality & Hotel Admin. is offered in collaboration with National Council for Hotel Management (NCHM) and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The course is of 3 years duration. NCHMCT JEE 2019 is for admission into:
- 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management
- 21 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management
- 1 Public sector undertaking and 20 Private Institutes of Hotel Management.
- 12 Food Craft Institutes and 2 SIHMs.

NCHMCT JEE Eligibility criteria
Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria before applying for any course. Here we are giving the eligibility criteria for NCHMCT JEE 2019.
Academic Qualification:
- Candidate should have passed in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects.
- English should have been one of the subjects and Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
Qualifying Exams for NCHMCT JEE for Indian Candidates
Candidates appearing Class 12 Exams in March 2019
- Candidates appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination in March 2019 can also appear in NCHMCT JEE 2019 on the provisional basis.
- Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30 September 2019
Age Limit
- General/ OBC Candidates: Upper age limit is 25 years as on 1 July 2019. Hence, the candidates born on or after 1 July 1994 are eligible to appear in NCHMCT JEE 2019.
- ST/SC candidates: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 1 July 2019. Hence, the candidates born on or after 1 July 1991 are eligible.
- Physically challenged candidates: Upper age limit will be as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.
Direct Admission in IHMs
- Each IHMs shall have three seats earmarked for 10+2 rank holders (one each for Arts, Science and Commerce stream) from among 1st to 200 rank holders from respective streams from recognized Boards of school examination wherein up to 2 lacs candidates appear or 1st to 500 rank holders from Board of Examination where 2 lacs to 5 lacs candidates take examination.
- The inter-school merit from recognised School Boards of the examination shall be in particular.

Submission of the Application Form
The candidates filling the application form should check that the details filled by them are correct in all aspect. Only then they should submit the application form. It is to be noticed that the candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the application form else, the application may be considered as rejected.
NCHMCT JEE 2019 Admit Card
NCHMCT JEE Admit Card was available to download from 3 April 2019. The admit card was available only to those candidates who have filled and submitted the application form successfully. Admit card is an important document and must be carried to the examination centre by the candidates. NCHMCT JEE Fees
The application fee for NCHMCT JEE is different, depending upon the categories. Therefore, the students are advised to pay the application fee accordingly. The payment of the application fee can be made by Credit/ Debit Card. The amount of fee to be paid by the candidates filling up NCHMCT Application Form is given in the table below.

Descriptive Fee Structure
NOTE: Only Rs 39,000 will be collected at the time of counselling which is a part of the 1st-semester fee as given above. The remaining amount, as well as other institutional charges, have to be deposited by the candidate on their joining into the allotted institute.
Hotel Management Course fee for Private Colleges
The fee of the Central and State Government Institutes is fixed by NCHMCT as given above, but in the case of Private affiliated Institutes, fee chart may be downloaded from the website of respective private Institute.
NCHMCT JEE Result and Counselling
NCHMCT JEE Result 2018 has been declared on 21 May 2018. The candidates who appeared in the exam conducted on 28 April 2018 can now check the result by following the link given below. After the declaration of the result, the NCHMCT Counselling will start. Admission to the first year of B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration program is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) secured by the candidate in the NCHMCT JEE 2018 Computer Based Test.
- NCHMCT JEE Rank is strictly based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the examination.
- Allotment of Institute shall be as per merit (NCHMCT JEE All India Rank) and choice of Institute exercised by the candidate.
- No group discussions or personal interviews are involved in this admission process.
NCHMCT JEE Exam pattern
- The language of Question Paper: Question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi (except for The English Language Question Paper).
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries one mark
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- Duration of Exam: 3 Hours (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
- Mode of Exam: Computer-Based Exam

Marking Scheme for NCHMCT JEE Computer Based Test
- Each correct answer under First 4 Section carries one mark each.
- For any wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- The Graded Marking Scheme for Aptitude for Service Sector Section is given below:
- The most appropriate answer carries 1.00
- The next appropriate answer carries 0.75
- The next to next appropriate answer carries 0.50
- The last inappropriate answer carries negative marks of 0.25 to be deducted

NCHMCT Scholarships
- National Council offers Merit-based Scholarship with the help of Industry for meritorious students who obtain 1st, 2nd and 3rd position on All India basis in Council’s Annual Examination in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the course i.e. after completion of both the semesters of the respective year.
- National Council Merit-cum-means based scholarship scheme is available in the Central Institutes of Hotel Management. The scheme carries 50% refund of semester fee.
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates can avail financial assistance from their respective State Governments for which the concerned Institute will issue studentship certificate indicating fee received from the student.

NCHMCT JEE 2019 Test Centres
There are a total of 49 test cities in which the NCHMCT computer-based test will be conducted. Hence, the candidates are advised to choose the preference of test cities cautiously as because the change in exam centre will not be considered.
However, it is possible that the change may be permitted to the candidates under exceptional circumstances. To gain more information about the same, the candidates are suggested to follow the link given below.
