NTSE Stage 2 exam 2021 which was scheduled to be conducted on 13 June 2021 will be conducted on 24 October 2021. The students who have qualified in NTSE Stage 1 exam are eligible for NTSE Stage 2 Exam. The NTSE Stage 1 exam is conducted in Pen and Paper-based format for the different states. The students who have cleared the NTSE Stage 1 exam from their respective state and UTs are only eligible to appear in the NTSE Stage 2 Exam. Indian students studying abroad will appear directly in the NTSE Stage 2 exam and will compete with the Indian students for the NTSE prestigious scholarship. The Selection of the awardee will be made on the basis of total marks scored in MAT & SAT based on merit.
The Indian students who have cleared the NTSE Stage 1 exam are directly eligible for NTSE Stage 2 exam. The candidates need not apply again for the NTE Stage 2 exam and there is no application fee. The Indian students studying abroad have to fill a separate application form for the NTSE Stage 2 Exam.

The NCERT will issue the auto-generated admit card for those candidates who have been selected to appear in the NTSE Stage 2 exam and it contains the details like the name of the candidate, photograph, test centre venue and address. After downloading the admit card, the candidate should carefully verify all the details given on the admit card. NTSE Stage 2 will be conducted on 24 October 2021 in all states/ UTs of the country. The candidates from abroad should enter 999999 as the State Roll Number to download the NTSE Stage 2 Admit Card.

NTSE 2021 Exam Pattern
The NTSE Stage 2 exam will be conducted in English and Hindi Language. There is No Negative Marking in both papers. The candidate has to report at the test centre at 9.00 a.m in the morning.

MAT Exam- This test is given to the candidates to judge their power of reasoning, ability to think, the ability to judge, evaluate or discriminate, the ability to visualize in space, spatial orientation, etc. A variety of questions, for example, analogies, classification, series, pattern perception, hidden figures, coding-decoding, block assembly, problem-solving etc. are used for this purpose. Each question carries one mark.

NTSE 2021 Answer Key for Stage 2
The answer keys for NTSE Stage 2 will be released by the NCERT after conducting the exam. The candidates who have appeared in the NTSE Stage 2 exam can check their estimated marks by the answer key. The candidates will also be given an opportunity to give feedback for the NTSE Answer keys at a specified time. In case they find any discrepancy in the answer keys or feel that some questions can have more than one answer, they can write to NCERT.

NTSE 2021 Result for Stage 2
The NCERT follows a very transparent system in the declaration of the NTSE Result. The answer sheets, answer keys, and marks scored in MAT & SAT would be displayed tentatively in April/May 2021 by the NCERT. The final result will have no state wise quota and it will be based on marks secured by the students in the NTSE Stage 2 written exam. NTSE Result contains the following things

NTSE Scholarship amount has been increased to Rs.1250 per month for Class 11& 12, Rs. 2000 per month for Undergraduate & Post Graduate Students and for PhD students the scholarship would be paid in accordance with the UGC norms.
