KVPY Registration 2021: Application Last date extended, Fee

KVPY Registration 2021 started on 12 July and the last date to register for KVPY is extended to 6 September. For the registered candidates, the last date of payment for the KVPY online application is 6 September 2021. Students who have registered for KVPY can complete their registration process and make payments. The KVPY Application form was released by IISc Bangalore for science students of Class 11, 12 and Basic Science students of 1st year. Candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria before filling KVPY Registration form. Students are required to register online for KVPY 2021 by entering their mobile number, email ID and other required details. Only after successful KVPY registration, candidates can fill the registration form and submit the necessary documents. KVPY registration form 2021 is to be filled for KVPY Aptitude Test which will be conducted on 7 November 2021. Fill KVPY Registration Form 2021 - (Step 1)

Candidates have to fill in their name, date of birth (exactly as in Class 10 Mark Sheet), presently studying in which class, stream, valid mobile number and Email address along with the Nationality for registration.  

KVPY Login & Fill Online Application Form (Step 2)

 Log in with your User ID and Password on the login page. The login id and password will be provided to the candidate on their registered email id and phone number. Fill out the necessary details. After logging in the candidate has to click on "Go To Application" for filling the online form.

Fill Personal details 

• Gender
• Category (Cannot be changed later)
• Disability status
• Address 

Fill Academic details 

• Exam board name
• Aggregate percentage in science and maths
• Date of joining for current class/course (Class 11, 12, College)
• Name and address of the School/College 

KVPY Documents Upload, Select Test Centre (Step 3)

In this step, the candidates have to fill the language preference for the exam and upload the necessary documents. A valid E-mail and Mobile Number is mandatory for the registration of your Online Application

Candidates should have scanned copies of the following things

• Photograph (Max 150 KB)
• Signature (Max 80 KB)
• Caste / Disability certificate as applicable

In this step, the candidate has to do 4 things that are 

1. Choose Language (English/Hindi)
2. Give Exam Center Preference (select 4)
3. Upload Scanned copy of Photograph and Signature
4. Upload Other Certificates if required

KVPY Test Centre Selection 

There are 100 Test cities in all over India for KVPY Online Entrance Test 2021. They are given in the table below. The candidates have to give preference for 4 exam centres while filling up the form. There are also some states/UTs in which there is no KVPY exam centre. Students from these states will have to choose another nearest test city for their KVPY Exam. KVPY Registration Fees 2021 Payment (Step 4)

Students who want to apply for the exam can check the KVPY Registration Fee before filling the application form.

Payment of KVPY Registration Fees

Candidates have to make the payment of registration fees. Candidates can pay the registration fee only through online mode. Candidates will have to pay their fees either through Internet Banking, Credit card or Debit card.

After successful payment, the candidates will get a message on top of the Application Form as "Your Application is on Scrutiny". 

Note: The Scrutiny of your application will take at least TWO working days from the time you successfully submitted your application 

Check KVPY Registration Status and Submission - (Step 5)

Candidates need not send any hard copy of the Confirmation Page or any other document to the IISc Bangalore Office. The candidates are advised to take a printout of the submitted application form as it is the confirmation page for the candidates and also useful for future references. Status Check - After two days candidates are advised to check the status of their application. If you get a message on top of your application that says “Your application is successfully submitted” you may take a printout of the same for your records.

KVPY Registration Form 2021 New Changes

After filling the KVPY form 2021 and analyzing the complete registration process, we have found out the KVPY Application Form New Changes. 

• Increase in KVPY Exam Centres - There are 100 KVPY test cities this year which was only 54 in 2017.
• Application Payment Mode Changed - This year the candidates can pay the application fee only through the online mode that is Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking. There is no offline mode applicable to pay the KVPY registration Form.

KVPY Registration Form - Check Eligibility Criteria

Students who want to apply for KVPY should check eligibility criteria before filling the KVPY Registration Form. Not all students are eligible for KVPY Exam so the students must read KVPY Eligibility Criteria in detail for all the streams SA, SX and SB. Only science students of Class 11 and 12 are eligible for the exam.  Also, the students pursuing basic science courses in the first year are eligible for the exam. There are also minimum required percentage norms for KVPY aspirants. Students in the first year should make sure that their course is eligible for the scholarship.

KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is a scholarship program started in 1999 to encourage students to take basic science courses and research careers in science. Students studying in Class 11, 12 and 1st year of basic science undergraduate program can appear for KVPY 2021.
