CBSE Results Rechecking and Revaluation
CBSE results cannot be re-evaluated, it can only be rechecked. The students have to apply for rechecking on time. If the candidates feel that they could have scored better marks than the marks reflected in the mark sheet only then they should apply for rechecking. Number of candidates registered for the CBSE 10th Exam (Previous Years)
According to the CBSE, in 2016, a total of 14,99,122 students registered for CBSE Class 10 exam. Amongst which 8,92,685 were boys and 6,06,437 were girls. The pass percentage of Class 10 in the year 2014 and 2015 was 98.76 and 98.87 respectively.
In 2013, more than 700,000 students appeared in CBSE Class 10 out of which approximately 98.19% cleared the exam. In the year 2012, CBSE had a passing percentage of approximately 97.86.
CBSE Result Class 10 Statistics (2017)
The overall pass percentage of CBSE last year was 90.95% and it has dipped from 2016 which was 96.21%. Delhi region has recorded the least pass percentage that is 78.09%. The stats are for the previous years, this year stats will be uploaded once available.

CBSE 10th Pass Percentage 2018
- Total 86.70% of students passed this year; i.e. it dipped by 4.25% from the last year's.
- The pass percentage in foreign schools is 98.32% in class 10 board exams
- A total of 11.45% of students have been placed in compartment in class 10 board exams
- JNV schools have performed the best with a pass percentage of 97.31% followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas with 95.96% and private schools are third with 89.49%
- Region-wise CBSE Result - Thiruvananthapuram region has topped with a pass percentage of 99.60% followed by Chennai with 97.37% and Ajmer is third with 91.86%. The performance of candidates in the Delhi region is 78.62%
- Total candidates who have secured more than 90% and above is 131493 and those who have secured more than 95% is 27476
- Girls have a pass percentage of 88.67% and boys 85.32%

CBSE 10th Result (2015-2018)
The table given below shows that both the overall pass percentage and boys' and girls' pass percentages have been decreasing over the years. This could be the cause of a concern.
