DTU B.Tech Evening Admission 2018 - Registration Started

DTU B.Tech Evening Admission 2018 is done through a common entrance examination for the admission to the first year of the B.Tech (Evening) Degree Programme which is a complete four-year programme. DTU B.Tech (Evening) Application form is available to fill online from 11 June to 4 July 2018. DTU B.Tech Evening Admission Dates 2018

As mentioned above on this page, the admission to the B.Tech (Evening) programme shall be made under two categories i.e. Direct and Sponsored. The candidates should be eligible in order to get the admission.

DTU B.Tech Evening Eligibility Criteria required for Direct Category

• The candidate having the three-year regular diploma in any branch of Engineering awarded by any state board of technical education/diploma recognised by AICTE, Delhi are eligible to apply for the DU BTech (Evening) programme
• The candidates should have a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters/ three years) of 60% (50% for SC/STPwD and 55% for OBC) to be eligible to take admission in B. Tech Evening Program being offered by DTU.

DTU B.Tech (Evening) Eligibility Criteria required for Sponsored Category

• The candidate having three-year regular Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering awarded by any state board of technical education/diploma recognised by AICTE, Delhi are eligible to apply for the DU BTech (Evening) programme
• The candidates should have a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters/ three years) of  60% (50% for SC/STPwD and 55% for OBC) to be eligible to take admission in B.Tech (Evening) Program being offered by DTU.

DTU BTech Evening Admission 2018 - Steps to be followed

The steps to fill the application form is given below and the candidates are suggested to follow the steps below. The steps and instructions given below will help the candidates to fill the form correctly without any mistakes. The candidates need to register themselves first to start the online registration process.

• STEP 1: The candidates at first need to issue a Demand Draft of the required amount and then they have to fill the details of the same in the relevant section.
• STEP 2: After filling up the Demand Draft details, the candidates have to fill their personal details such as the name of the candidate, father's name, DOB. In this section, the candidates also have to upload the photograph of their own.
• STEP 3: Further on, the candidates will move to the section where they have to fill the contact details, communication details, branch code etc.
• STEP 4: The candidates have to fill the qualification related details such as the name of boards, year of passing, marks secured etc.
• STEP 5: This is the last step of filling the application form. In this step, the candidates have to attach the requisite documents and the signature at the end and finally they have to submit the application form

Submission of the Application Form

The candidates after filling up all the section of the application form of DTU BTech Evening, they have to ensure that the details filled by the candidates are correct in all aspect. After inspecting the details, the candidates have to submit the application form.

The candidates are suggested to keep at least two printouts of the application form along with them for future reference. The candidates (Sponsered category only) have to submit the application form along with the demand draft to the following address either in person or by post.

The candidates have to pay Rs 1,000 for General and OBC Categories (Rs 5,00 for SC/ST) against the payment of the DTU BTech Evening Application Fee. The candidates should know that the application fee can be payable through Demand Draft only at the time of Admission process. The annual fees need to be paid by the candidates as per year is given below in tabular form. The fee structure given here is as per last year. This year fee structure will be released soon.

DTU BTech Evening Admission Programme Fee 2018

• The admission of the candidates to B.Tech. (Evening) programme shall be done by Delhi Technological University on the basis of the rank secured by the candidates in the Common Entrance Examination. 
• In case more than one candidate have equal marks in the Entrance Examination, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as stated in the eligibility conditions will be considered as the basis of merit for admission. 
• In the event of marks in the qualifying examination also being equal, the candidate born earlier will be given preference.

Medium:  The medium of the question paper shall be English. 

Type of Questions: The test will comprise of the only objective type of questions.

Duration: 2 Hours

Marking Scheme: Each question will have multiple (four) choices with one correct choice. Each correct answer will be awarded four marks, whereas one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
